Gish Jen Fiction Fellow.
As a night shift nurse, I follow a different schedule than most of the working (and writing) world. a day. I am working on a novel which will dive deeply into a story about the difficulty of maintaining relationships, both romantic and a-romantic, through which I explore how humans reckon with each other’s trauma, and their own. My characters already are a part of me, and I hope to give them the stage they deserve.

I also hope to hone leadership skills as a writer leading a writer’s workshop, and to network with to develop deeper connections to Boston’s writing community.
