Fifteen-year-old Elantan doesn’t fit in. He’s convinced the community’s flagship yeshiva is the answer. But the path to belonging leads him straight to the rosh yeshiva, who exploits his trust in a relationship that becomes emotionally and sexually abusive. Trapped by the institution’s power and challenged by new friendships, Elantan must find the strength to forge his own path, even if it means giving up everything he thought he wanted.
