Letter to Fellowship Applicants

Spring 2003

Dear Fellowship Applicant:

This year the Writers' Room of Boston, Inc., is offering two fellowships, both of which grant workspace in the Room for one year at no cost.

The LEF Fellowship, established in 1997, will be awarded to an outstanding writer working in any genre who could not otherwise afford membership fees. The Nadya Aisenberg Fellowship in Poetry honors the late poet and scholar Nadya Aisenberg, who was a founder and longtime member of the Writers' Room. It will be awarded to an outstanding poet without regard to financial need. If you are a poet, please feel free to apply for both fellowships.

To apply, please complete the application and submit it with all materials listed there. Complete the financial statement only if you are applying for LEF fellowship.

The deadline for submitting applications is November 15, 2002. Awards will be announced in December, and residency will begin January 1, 2003.
